This couple’s wedding was reported to be the first time a same-sex couple was blessed by a church in Norway. The nation began to legally recognize marriage for same-sex couples Jan. 1 of the next year.
Anyone who follows this blog knows that I like names, dates and places, but I could not find these guys’ names anywhere!

They were the first same-sex couple ever officially blessed by an Icelandic church. In 2010, Iceland extended the legal rights of marriage to same-sex couples as well.
(No, I have NO idea how to pronounce these names!)
