latenightkissing asked: Although this blog inspires and gives hope to many people, I feel it reaches a little deeper to me. I live in a very homophobic, lonely city. There's barely anyone openly LGBT and as an open bisexual I've never had a boyfriend or kissed a boy in public. Thank you for reminding me every time I log on, that there is still hope for me in the world.
a-cynical-optimist asked: I just gotta say, this blog is amazing! Seeing all of these wonderful happy couples really gives me hope for a better future, one where everyone is equal in love, regardless of gender! I know there is still so much hate in the world, but this blog just shows that such hate is slowly deteriorating and moving towards something better and brighter, and I couldn't be happier! This blog has...

Thank you so much
I’d like to say thank you for making this page. This gives me much hope for my fiance and I’s marriage. Him and I are both transgender. He is FtM, and I am Mtf. This makes me feel very confident that there is a page such as this promoting such equality. Thank you so much! <3 ~ChrissiMarie
kristiannerice asked: Looking at this blog gives me even more hope for my upcoming wedding to my beautiful fiancee. Thank you for the great pictures and the positivity you post, I never get to see such happiness here where we live regarding same-sex couples.

philripley asked: Polite notice: please remove the images of Mark Gatiss' wedding from you posts. These images were coped illegally from my website in December. I'm the photographer and further action will be forthcoming unless they are removed. Please pass on to your friends who have also posted. Thanks, Phil Ripley.
hellogaymers asked: Montparnasse is an area of Paris France. The wedding, which may well have simply been staged since Confidential was a gossip rag, probably took place in the 1950's or 60's, during the latter of which a rise of artistic and avant-garde types began to gather in Bohemia and other parts of France, then spread out quite quickly through cultural diffusion. These individuals were more likely to...

Here’s a scan of the magazine that the “World’s Queerest Wedding” was in.
more on the world’s queerest wedding: the entire issue (pictures in question about halfway down the page), and commentary, including “Henry Scott says Harrison staged this Paris wedding in his New York office, LOL.” considering the times, i wouldnt be surprised if that was true.
concerning “the world’s queerest wedding”: the wedding is mentioned in the book Inside the Hollywood fan magazine. the story was published in the magazine Confidential in december 1952. just for some context.

theairloomer asked: Just wanted to let you know that, lovely as the photo of Messrs Gatiss and Hallard is, apparently it was not meant to be released to the public, and the photographer has asked for it not to be shared. Just wondered if you'd oblige by removing it. Thanks!
Hi, and thanks so much for putting together this beautiful blog. It gives me hope. :)
A few months ago, British actor/writer Mark Gatiss (League of Gentlemen, Doctor Who, Sherlock, etc.) was featured on the BBC Radio 4 programme Desert Island Discs, and told a great story about his civil partnership ceremony with actor Ian Hallard. I thought your blog’s readers might be entertained.

versace911 asked: I love your blog!
lovealwaysoriginal asked: It disgusts me how it is perfectly acceptable for kim kardashian to be married for 3 months and then get a divorce, yet it takes a couple 64 YEARS to be married just because they both happen to be men. I think society should concern themselves with other things, like murder or rape or child abuse. Right now it seems as though homosexuality > rape, etc.
OUTSTANDING!
I just wanted to say that this is truly amazing. :) I am so happy to see so many smiling faces on their wedding days! Congratulations to all. I am so happy for every one! :)
tacotimeheiwajima asked: This blog is simply amazing. I smile when I look at all the pictures, read the captions, etc. Keep promoting the freedom! I love it! :)
